Hey all! I'm back from a much-needed rest with family friends in Switzerland (they're from my hometown; the dad is Swiss the way mine is German, so they moved back to his old hometown). It was brilliant. They live in a small town near Zurich, and all I did for a week was eat yummy, healthy food, walk in the hills, play with the kids, and lounge about. The skies were blue, the Austrian Alps were ten minutes away, it was warm and sunny. It was fabulous.
Oh, and I went to an enormous, medieval-style bonfire that burned the "Winter Witch" at the stake and marked the official beginning of spring. I'm still waiting for the photos before I do a whole post on that.
Now I'm back in Berlin, much relaxed and much more inclined to be nice about things.
