I'm going to try not to be boring right now.
Tomorrow I am going to go see Prince Caspian again. I saw it once and I pretty much fangirled the entire movie tenfold. Made of awesome, it is.
Books I've read so far this summer (aka "Reading my Height: 5'6")
The Fairy-tale Detectives, Michael Buckley (1.5")
The Unusual Suspects (Ditto)
The Problem Child (Ditto)
Once Upon a Crime (2")
Magic and Other Misdemeanors (2")
Tales from the Hood (1.5")
Queste, Angie Sage (5")
Unexpected Magic, Diana Wynne Jones (4")
Michael Palin: The Diaries (6")
Fablehaven: Curse of the Shadow Plague, Brandon Mull (3")
Currently reading:
The Pinhoe Egg, Diana Wynne Jones (2.5")
For a grand total of 30.5 inches. Not a bad start, I think.
I'm always on the look out for a new book. Any suggestions?
the book thief is pretty good and I also heard that
ReplyDelete"In her hands" or something close to that is also good. About the holocaust.
I like your idea of reading your height--maybe I'll join ya.
Reading your height is something some of my livejournal friends came up with. It's actually pretty fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm not as in to the holocaust as some people are. It generally kills a book for me, although I have heard that "The Book Thief" is really good. Maybe I'll try to overcome my dislike of the subject and give it a try.
guess what?!i saw a narnia bed at rosso's!
ReplyDeleteif you dont know what a narnia bed is.......
slap ur self.jk.call me.
I tried calling you, but your phone was off.
ReplyDeletewhat's a narnia bed? and the day I wanted to see Caspian it left theatres. I hate movie theatres. they are cruel. i have to read lord of the rings the fellowship this summer for honors english homework. i was going to read it anyway but it makes it less fun to have it be homework. summer hw. sad...
ReplyDeleteMaCall, I'm going to use all caps for a moment:
ReplyDeleteTHE LORD OF THE RINGS IS NOT BORING EVEN IF IT IS FOR HOMEWORK AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN AND SIT ON YOU UNTIL YOU DO.
And I've a book to recommend to you to make FOTR even cooler than it already is. Rent J.R.R. Tolkien, Author of the Century by Tom Shippey, it talks about all of the Old English and Medieval influences that Tolkien drew on to create LOTR and I couldn't put it down when I read it.
