The Unofficial Site states that Jonas Kaufmann was seen out and about in Munich with his family, in traditional lederhosen, jacket and hat, enjoying the opening of Oktoberfest. So it appears that all went well with his surgery and he is healing up nicely.
Part of me wishes we got to see the lederhosen; the other part knows I need to get work done today and that an imploded brain would not be ideal. ;)

like the look of the book, and like the fur coat (as it's vintage.) Though maybe a good idea not to wear it in London - not so long since eggs got thrown here at furcoats - if you see one now you can be 95% sure it has an Italiana inside it - the other 5% would be Russian.
Yes - great re JK and his Knoten. Maybe now the inexplicable crying jags will cease -- or maybe not......
And it's great that he' had six weeks' rest and time to spend with the kids....everyone needs that.

I'm really happy to hear that Kaufmann got to go out and about with his kids. He's earned it. And I'm REALLY happy to hear that everything is well with him.
