Adventures in technology

Last night my cell phone died. Gone. Broken. Kaput. It had been coming for a while, but it finally breathed its last. So today, after the farmer's market, I set out in the first really intense heat of the season to find me a new phone. Amazing what technology has done to us; I felt so lost for the night and morning I was cut off from talking to people. :P

I now have a purple Motorola camera phone hosted by Verizon, one that has actual ringtones, a nice layout, and all kinds of other nifty features that my old phone didn't. I got it for free, too, because I set up a new account with Verizon. And the best bit is that I get another discount because I work for the university. Whee! So much love!
