So the invincible Hollywood powers that be are making Amanda Foreman's biography of Georgiana Duchess of Devonshire into a movie. I have to admit I'm curious to see how it'll turn out, because I've read the biography and it's fantastic. It seems that they've changed a few things, as always, but the thing I'm really curious about is how they're going to handle the utterly weird menage-a-trois between Georgiana, The Duke, and Elizabeth Foster, who was (according to Foreman) Georgiana's Best Friend Forever OMG-Georgiana knew they had a thing going on and for some reason it didn't seem to affect her in any way that history records.
Well, if nothing else I know that they got the Gainsborough hair right. :)

keira is in a lot of movies from that time period...
She has the right face and figure for that era, and she looks fantastic in the clothes. She's a bit too thin, but otherwise she pulls off the look fantastically.
